Block Puzzle
Drag blocks onto an 8×8 board and fill rows or columns to clear them. Clear lines back to back to build combo points.
Guide
Key points
- Drag blocks onto the board; full rows and columns clear.
- Clearing several lines at once, and back to back, multiplies your score.
- Keep the middle open so big pieces always have a place.
How to play
- Drag one of the three blocks below onto empty cells of the 8×8 board. Blocks can’t be rotated.
- When a row or column is full, it clears. Rows and columns that fill at the same time clear together.
- Once all three are placed, three new blocks appear.
- The game ends when none of the remaining blocks fit anywhere. Blocks that can’t fit are dimmed.
Scoring
- Placing a block scores one point per cell.
- Clearing lines adds 10 × lines² × combo: one line is 10, two at once 40, three at once 90.
- Combo grows with each placement in a row that clears a line and resets to 0 when a placement clears nothing.
Strategy
- Keep the middle open for 3×3 squares and 5-long bars.
- Fill from one edge so several lines complete at once.
- Plan the order of all three blocks before placing; big pieces first is usually safer.
- Avoid single-cell holes — very few pieces can fill them.
FAQ
Can I rotate blocks?
No — each block must be placed as it appears.
How does the combo work?
Each consecutive placement that clears at least one line raises it; a placement that clears nothing resets it to 0.
Can I continue later?
Yes. Your current board and best score are saved in this browser and restored when you come back. Nothing is sent to our servers.
