Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information FailX (“the site”), operated by FailX Inc., processes, why, how long it is kept, and the choices and rights you have.
1. Information we process
The site has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or phone number. Text, images, QR code content and values you enter into tools are processed only in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers.
Running the service does generate the following automatically:
- Server access logs: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring URL, and browser / operating system details (User-Agent).
- What Is My IP tool: your IP address and country code are read to display them back to you and are not stored separately (they still appear in the access logs above).
2. Why we process it
- To deliver pages and run the tools
- To keep the site secure, including detecting and blocking abuse
- To troubleshoot failures and compile aggregate statistics
- To show advertising, where ads are enabled (see section 5)
For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure service; for advertising cookies it is your consent.
3. Retention
- Server access logs are kept for 3 months and then deleted automatically.
- Information may be kept longer only where the law requires it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookie, your language choice may not be remembered.
5. Advertising
The site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

6. Service providers and international transfers
We rely on the providers below. Using the site means your information is transmitted over the network to them, including to countries other than your own.

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties, except where required by law.
8. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to restrict or object to its processing. Contact us at the address below and we will respond without undue delay. Because we hold no names or accounts, we may need the date, time and IP address of your visit to locate the relevant records. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
- All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS
- Our server only accepts requests that come through Cloudflare
- Server access is restricted, and access logs are deleted automatically
