1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of FailX (failx.info, the “site”), operated by FailX Inc. (“we”). By using the site you agree to them.
2. The service
- The site offers free online tools for text, calculations and conversions, images, documents, utilities and games.
- No account is needed. The site is funded by advertising, so ads may be shown.
3. Your data
- Text you enter and files you choose are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. We therefore cannot view, keep or recover your files.
- You own, and are responsible for, what you enter and create.
- Some tools contact third-party services to work (for example the speed test and IP lookup). See our privacy policy.
4. Results are estimates
- Results such as take-home pay, loan interest, exchange rates and unit conversions are estimates based on published rules. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice.
- Actual figures can differ; check with the relevant institution or a professional before important decisions.
- Converted documents and images may differ from the original — check important files before use.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the tools to infringe others’ rights or for unlawful purposes (such as distributing phishing QR codes);
- send excessive automated requests, disrupt our servers or try to bypass security;
- scrape or republish the site’s content at scale or pass it off as your own service;
- click ads fraudulently or manipulate ad impressions.
6. Intellectual property
The site’s design, text, guides and logo belong to us. You are welcome to link to and quote the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Open-source components are used under their own licenses.
7. Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove tools at any time. The service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or third-party outages.
8. Liability
- The service is provided free of charge. Except for intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for losses arising from its use.
- We are not responsible for decisions you make based on results or information from the site.
- Advertisers and third-party site operators are responsible for their own ads and content.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms within the limits of the law and will announce changes on the site 7 days in advance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
